There is also a very large group of alternative people living here, these people are from all over the world and a lot of them are Greeks. We got to know a lot of these people and they are so wonderful. A lot of the women I met through teaching belly dance. Their way of life is so simply and beautiful. Some of them have dreads and others just have the most beautiful head of curls. We met this one couple who lived in a cave for 7 and a half years. One full moon they invited us for a gathering in their cave with some other friends of theirs, we were so amazed at how beautiful this place is. The view is out of this world!!!! They managed to fix the cave so that they have different rooms....even a little guest room.....how cozy. Once a week we have a meetings at Rebecca's house....she is the sweetest person you could ever know. Her door is always open and everyone is welcome. Actually the house she is living in was build for that purpose... to welcome travelers from all over. Every year there is a special gathering in a different country and thousands of people attend from all over the planet, Rebecca often attend these gatherings and this is where she meets most of these people. She is living here on and off with her two year-old daughter, Gya.

...but these were merely challenges not obstacles. To me obstacles are like huge boulders and they create doubts and questions in your mind. Challenges on the other hand I feel are more of a test of your strength. They pop up once in a while as a confirmation and they only strengthen your thoughts and your believes on decisions that you have made in your life. As we all know there are lots of beautiful amazing places in this world. I am proud to say I was born in one of these places, but if you are  in a place where you able to see beyond whatever it is that you are looking at, be content and pleased with being alone with yourself....without having anyone around.... and just being able to enjoy the sweet sincere smiles that you receive from the people passing you by on the street, I would say my friend that you have found your place in this world. With all these things in mind, everything else that seem to be out of place, will just suddenly find  it's place and link into one magnificent world of your very own. I am so pleased to say that I have found my place and I think my husband share these exact thoughts  and feelings with me... as we often sit in amazement and admiration. Therefore, we were so thrilled to purchase our magnificent piece of land...which we named "Venus Hill".... we hope to put on this hill a little house where we can live out our years with our children and a place for you to visit and enjoy. always remember dreams are not only for when you are asleep, you can dream while taking a peaceful walk alone on your special path.
