A memorable trip to Disney World
It was not until April of this year , that I was finally back in the air. A few flights with my friend Paul at Avia Aviation at Opa Locka Airport brought my instrument license back to current status and regained some lost proficiency. It's a sure thing: you have to keep flying to stay on top. We took a nice flight to Pahokee with an VOR Approach and shot several ILS and localizer approaches at Palm Beach and Opa Locka. What a feeling to be up there again! That part of "Floridian lifestyle" I really miss. Anybody out there who can spare a plane?

I was in for a real treat at our recent visit to Germany. Flying a TB10 Socata was the equivalent of driving a Mercedes Benz visa a VW Beetle (with reference to the good old Piper Warrior). Shooting an NDB Approach at my hometown airport (Nuernberg) and a flight to Bayreuth made this trip very memorable also in terms of Euros. Landing fees even for a touch and go!!
